Stephanie French is an independent writer, editor and Bible study curriculum developer. Since beginning her writing career in 2001, she has worked on many collaborative projects with other gifted authors for ministries and publishers including Focus on the Family, Lifetogether Publishing, Lamplighter Media, and Baker Books. She specializes in devotions, Bible studies, spiritual growth resources, and leadership development training tools.

   Stephanie discovered her passion for writing out of a growing need for spiritual growth and leadership training resources at her church. Responsible for overseeing a team of writers, Stephanie produced several church-wide campaign Bible studies for youth, each with 40-day devotional companions. In addition, she developed ministry-specific training manuals and comprehensive mission preparatory curriculum for use by youth and young adults. Through this process, she discovered that not only was she capable of developing well-organized and target specific resources, but through them, God was transforming lives. Since 2006, Stephanie has broadened her scope to include the development of adult Bible studies and spiritual growth resources. Her latest collaborative project is a series of Bible studies entitled Deepening Life Together which are scheduled for release by Baker Books in summer 2009.

   Stephanie is a devoted wife and mother of four wonderful children ranging in age from preschool to college. Most of her 9-to-5 days are spent caring for and homeschooling her two youngest children, while guiding the older children through their transitions into adulthood.

   In her spare time Stephanie enjoys preparing tasty, healthy meals, spending time with her friends and family, creating a warm and comfortable home and, at the end of the day, nestling under the covers with a good book from her collection of over 1,000 titles. Her dream is to one day own and operate a used book store where patrons can enjoy browsing for hours in a warm and friendly environment.
